Review Processes

The new Editors at JGR-Atmosperes (Colin O'Dowd, Steven Pawson, Alan Robock, Darin Toohey) are committed to a prompt review processes while maintaining the standard of the Jounral.

In order to achieve the above objectives we are introducing a new electronic processing system: manuscrips can be submitted electronically and are distributed to referees electronically.

Review & revision time limits

Referees are given 4 weeks to review a manuscript and return a review report. This can be done electronically from this web site or via email.

Manuscripts remain in the review processes if minor or important revisions require less than 4 weeks.

Manuscripts requiring revisions involving a londer time period (more than 4 weeks) will be rejected. Under special circumstances, an extension of the revision date may be granted by the Editor.
